    现在的我真的很伤心, 因为种种原因, 我必须要把和我在一起有好几个月的POKO给送人了. 我到现在还记得当初开着车兴奋地去领养他, 回到家里小心翼翼地让他适应, 直到现在我们一起睡觉, 他站在我的窗头等我起床, 一想到在没有他5点左右等我喂他吃饭, 再没有在我睡觉前总是要霸占我的床, 再没有他陪我一起看书, 在我旁边静静的睡觉. 难过, 无止境的难过. 今天拍了很多他的照片, 他转过头来对着镜头看着我, 或许他也知道我的想法, 这时候就很难面对他. 

    Poko真希望你的新主人会对你好, 可以忍受你无限的撒娇, 可以陪你玩, 逗你开心. 这几个月虽然照顾着你,但没能经常陪你我也很难过. 不过, 我相信会有像我一样爱你的人.

    漫谈美子 - [Movie Night]

     

     

    早在多场学校影迷交流会上经常听到老美谈到他们对李沧东的崇拜及对"密阳"的欣赏. 对美国人来说, 韩国电影的振兴和年年层出不穷的好片是一种新观影体验, 每年必有那么一部韩国片是众多美国影评人笔下的焦点, RR在2010年多次在各种各样的年度总结提起奉俊昊的"母亲", 去年更是在各种奖项提名中看到李沧东和易静熙的身影.


     “诗”--英文名之Poetry成为2011年除了A Separation外最响亮的外语片名.

    美子, 片中的主角. 年过六甲的邻家老人, 倘若在韩国真见到美子这样的人, 不知道要以怎样的敬语去称呼, 她的美和温柔让我不舍以할머니(外婆)相称, 但她眼角的鱼尾纹和眼中对往事的留恋又透露了她丰厚的人生经历。她带白色的帽子, 吝惜自己的美丽, 穿整齐的套装, 言语见的轻巧和温柔, 这一切表现了她对青春的留恋和对优雅与美丽的追求.

    美子的生活很简单, 生活不算贫穷, 偶尔为邻居半瘫痪的社长做身体清理赚来的一比小钱可以让她很开心, 她追求其实不高, 每天给孙子做饭, 饭后打打羽毛球, 这些是她生活的主体.

    美子对生活和自我的热情却在这平淡的生活里试图获得释放. 她铭记高中老师一句简单的---美子你以后会写诗, 便加入各种读诗团想去完美儿时的梦想. 她见到做诗的前辈便问, 我要怎么去找灵感,怎样去做诗?片中没有明确给予美子与其他想要做诗人的对比, 但我们很清楚的察觉美子对艺术对诗和世界之美的追求绝对不是泛泛之谈, 她抱着一种奋不顾身的渴望去学习诗的创作, 但灵感和老师一再对她强调的重点--对世界美得察觉却未能和美子达成共鸣.

    美子, 陷入了困境. 一方面, 她努力将自己融入世界去感受和触碰美丽, 另一方面, 孙子在学校和其他无名男生强奸的女子跳河而死的噩耗成为她过不去的一道坎, 她的内疚, 她的惭愧,潜意识的阻止了她寻求美的渴望. 这时候去追求美, 怎么对得起那死去的少女? 美子不断的纠结, 她无法忍受其他五名学生家长的冷漠和残酷, 她逃避他们的对话, 走到外面对着玫瑰写下“红的像血一般”这样的诗句, 从此刻起少女之死不仅成为她内心情感波澜的起因, 却也成为她对艺术灵感的来源.

    美子的困惑在片中表现的很微妙,除了几次美子和孙子的正面冲突, 你几乎看不到很多她情绪的转折. 但电影不断的铺垫, 将美子因为少女之死做的种种事情展现: 她去灵堂, 偷了少女的照片, 跑去学校强奸地点的科学教室, 去看少女死去的河, 这些小的事情穿插在电影中, 真实的表现着美子自身的罪恶感不断的加重. 她可以白天去参加诗颂会, 聚餐时快乐的和别人谈论诗歌,但聚餐结束和, 她蹲在外面的墙角放声大哭, 罪恶和内疚不断侵袭着她, 她如此无助, 不知如何去救赎.

    成为鲜明对比的是美子孙子的行为, 尽管自己做下虐罪却无视后果, 打电动看电视, 没有一丝对死去少女的怜悯之心. 他面对外婆的质疑选择无视和逃避, 而这样的行为让美子无法获得任何的解脱,反而加深她对少女的内疚. 美子为了给少女家人一笔和解费做出了违背她人格的事情, 但从美子的眼里, 我没有看到后悔, 我深信她从不后悔她的决定, 她以她自己的方式去做牺牲是自我救赎的行为. 她以为用这样的方式, 罪恶感会消失, 灵魂会得到解放, 而她可以重回到那个在影片开始安然美丽的女人.

    但她没有得到解放. 在和解会上她无法直视少女母亲的眼睛, 她起身离开, 因为内心道德的指控让她无法忘记孙子的冷漠. 钱给了少女母亲那只能算是一种安慰, 到底要用什么样的办法去真正赎罪? 美子内心对正义的追求被迫她做出一个艰难的决定, 大义灭亲, 将无知的孙子提交到警局.

    电影的最后15分钟将尹静姬的演技再度升华, 她的决绝和对孙子的不舍, 她的困惑和对黑白对错的认同, 她所追求的平静和自己打破的安稳。 随着孙子的离开, 她内心的墙壁终于瓦解, 灵感无限涌入, 她提笔写下自己的第一首诗.

    电影结局来到美子和少女都来到的那条河, 少女的黯然一笑和美子的消失带来了一个开放式的结局. 美子去了哪里? 做了什么? 她还像以前一样穿碎花的套装, 踩着坡跟的高跟鞋吗? 她还偶尔看着树和树枝的飘动去寻求美吗? 但仿佛一切都不重要了, 美子达到了自己的救赎, 而她解放的心情可以无限的去感受世界的美, 她的优雅会一直伴随着她, 在自己的笔记上记下千言万语, 生命的真谛.

    尹静姬凭此片获得多个最佳女主角提名, 并获奖无数. 很多人在看完片后被她年过六十却仍保存的优雅细腻而折服. 和我的韩国朋友漫谈尹静姬, 才得知当年成为影后和总统产生了丑闻, 民间流传总统将她介绍给久住法国的钢琴家, 于是尹静姬从此逃避了媒体, 并且再没有回归到银屏和韩国. 她和总统之间的感情, 有人说她是被迫的, 但已无从考证. 但光凭她如此深厚的演技, 和她对美子这个角色的完美诠释, 我无法停止得对她产生好感. 那些躲避与法国的时光,是什么样的契机造就了这样的女子?

    在63届戛纳电影节上,李沧东凭借此片获得最佳编剧奖。

    最近因为要做的事太多太多, 压力大到一看到自己的日程表就紧张. 

    不过所有的付出都是为了六月23号完美的一天!

    You're never gonna believe it, but I have been anxiously obsessing about this discussion of Black Swan for weeks. The black swan has a fairy amount of hypes surrounding it at least in cinematic circles. Darren Aronofsky has clearly seen The Red Shoes and Peeping Tom, because both these films are movies exploring as what Martin Scorsese put it when he talks about Peeping Tom --the dangerous of artistic obsession.


    In black swan, the dangerous obsessed Protagonist is Natalie Portman's role  Nina Sayers --technically profession but icy dancer, who finally gets her dream role in an adaptation of Swan Lake, only to be undone by psychological and sensual demands. It's so appropriate that I am mentioning artistic obsession--the search for artistic profession, because  Darren Aronofsky is one of the most interesting experimental articious film makers working today.

    The film absolutely looks great, but when we compare it to Peeping Tom, one is a classic example of how a director can enhance a good script and story with his or her camera, but the other one -- Black Swan is an excise in saving a not so good script. Looking back at  Darren Aronofsky 's other films, The script for "The Wrestler" was written by Robert D. Siegel, who also wrote a film I like quite a bit "Big Fan" was by far that film's weakest link. I mean boringly untrickly  dramas but was saved by Mickey Rourke turning in His Standly Corovsky--some absolutely brilliant encaptivating performance. And this film the Black Swan need the same kind of Corovsky performance into it, and luckily we have Natalie Portman come in with her incredible convincing acting to save the script. The wrestler is a film from the ritual, we are fascinating by Mickey Rourke's performance. and with the great acting of Natalie Portman we are lead to the dangerous of this ballet world.

    I actually found a lot of truth in the film,I was memorize by not just the style but the ritual of it, the film is about an aging artist, we know that from the beginning when Barbara Hershey as Natalie Portam's mom says:" you have been there long enough, it's about time you have your chance," even though Natalie's role is only reaching her mid twenty's, there is a lot of pressure on her, you see the tore takes on her body, what Darren Aronofsky focuses on here in a way to drag you into the pain of it-- what dancing does to her toes, back, you can hear the sounds of her breathing, and Darren Aronofsky brings down the soundtrack and emphasize how fast she was breathing and how heavily she was breathing, it really makes it about the body here in a lot of ways.The mechanic, the work of it, the ritual, that's what he made the movie stand out.

    But the script weakness can not be ignored. The main male charater played by Vincent Cassel, great french actor, the director of this ballet company, you can not have him come in and gives the speech of he basically telling the story of swan lake at the beginning of the film. Yes, the same kind of explanation happens in The Red Shoes, but the different is when does the speech happen and how it was used. A speech like this right at the beginning of the film is what we called played the audience as fools. Vincent's character unfortunately does not convince me as an audience of how much a impact he can make on Natalie Portman, and here it automatically brings out the doubt for the ritual of the film. 

    Before I watched the movie, I made some notes of what the movie might hit, and 50 mins into the movie, it turns out all the points have been hit, that does not mean I didn't enjoy the movie, There is some unsatisfaction in the end of the movie once you knows that the movie is basically "The Red Shoes" meets "Repulsion ", then everything makes perfect sense and you will know what is coming. I did want it to be a bit ambiguous here, leave the audience space to imaging. 

    Darren Aronofsky is definitely saving this movie with his directorial style, I love how he brings that natural and Cinéma vérité style where we follow her into the ballet from behind, and in fact you don't get this ballet scenes ever in the rehearsal and on the stage, where the camera is far away from the stage and trying to show the beauty of ballet. No, that's not what he does in the movie. In fact he camera is right there, next to the dancers, once again it show the ritual and the pain they go through, The sweat, the blood the body working are all amazing, he has done great downwards psychological thriller really well, what his camera go through at the last third act of Requiem For A Dream, that is something that will make your head spin, and here once again, he proves that a story that has been told many time-- a person who cannot live up to the standard and goals that other people set for her, can have this devastating and emotionally traumatizing effect on the audience. The vision of the film,  vision knows exactly what he is going for, he is in control with his Darren Aronofsky style.
